[F1 8A General duty of Ministers. E+W+S

In performing their functions under this Act the Ministers shall have regard to the national interest in maintaining and expanding the forestry resources [F2 of England and Wales and the Scottish Ministers shall have regard to the national interest in maintaining and expanding the forestry resources of Scotland].]
