This Act may be cited as the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1967 and this Act and the principal Act may be cited together as the M1Industrial and Provident Societies Acts 1965 and 1967.

This Act shall come into operation on the expiration of the period of two months beginning with the date on which it is passed.

This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
