34 Assistant inspectors and staff officers.S
F1[(1)The Secretary of State may appoint assistant inspectors of constabulary.
[F2(1A)The chief inspector of constabulary may appoint staff officers to inspectors of constabulary.]]
(2)Persons appointed under this section shall be paid such salary and allowances as the [F3Scottish Ministers may] determine.
