In section 4 (power to grant bail pending appeal to the House of Lords) as it applies to England and Wales,—

in subsection (2) for the words “an appellant pending an appeal under section one of this Act in such proceedings” there shall be substituted the words “an appellant under section 1 of this Act, or a person applying for leave to appeal thereunder, pending the appeal”.
