20 Power of magistrates’ court to commit on bail for sentence. E+W

Where a magistrates’ court has power to commit an offender to a [F1 Crown Court] under section 5 of the M1 Vagrancy Act 1824 (incorrigible rogues). . . F2 , the court may instead of committing him in custody commit him on bail.
