44 Pasturing of bulls.
1
No person shall, being the occupier of any field or enclosure through which there is a public right of way, permit any bull to be at large in such field or enclosure:
Provided that this section shall not apply to any bull which—
a
does not exceed the age of 10 months; or
b
is not of a recognised dairy breed and is at large in any field or enclosure in which cows or heifers are also at large.

A person who fails to comply with the foregoing subsection shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding F1level 3 on the standard scale.
