In section 43(b), for the words from “whether” to the end of the paragraph, there shall be substituted the words “before the commencement of the New Towns (Scotland) Act 1968 under section 12(1) of the M2New Towns (Scotland) Act 1946 in its application to Scotland (to which section 37(1) of the said Act of 1968 corresponds), and after the commencement of the said Act of 1968 under the said section 37(1); and”.
