In section 1 of the M1Anglo-Portuguese Commercial Treaty Act 1914 for the words “the M2Merchandise Marks Act 1887” there shall be substituted the words “ the Trades Descriptions Act 1968 ”.

In section 4(2) of the M4Agricultural Produce (Grading and Marking) Act 1928, after the words “indication of origin” there shall be inserted the words “ or an order under section 8 of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 is in force imposing requirements for securing that such eggs are marked with or accompanied by such an indication ”.
