General Adaptations S

1 Subject to the provisions of Part II of this Schedule any reference to a child or to a young person shall be construed as a reference to a child within the meaning of Part III of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968.

2 S Any reference to a court of summary jurisdiction or to a juvenile court . . . F1 shall be construed as a reference to the sheriff sitting summarily.

7 E+W+S In section 46(1) for the words “child or young person”, in both places where these words occur, there shall be subsituted the words “a person under the age of seventeen years”.
