51 Regulations and orders.F3E+W+S

(1)Subject to the next following subsection, the Secretary of State may make regulations for any purpose for which regulations are authorised or required to be made under this Act.

(2)The Secretary of State shall not make any regulations under this Act except after consultation with the Board.

(3)Any power to make regulations [F1or an order] under this Act may be exercised so as to make different provision for different areas or in relation to different cases or different circumstances to which the power is applicable.

(4)Any power conferred by this Act to make an order shall include power to vary or revoke the order by a subsequent order.

(5)Any power to make regulations or orders under this Act shall be exercisable by statutory instrument; and any statutory instrument containing any such regulations or order F2... shall be subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.
