(1)With a view to giving the public advance notice of plans for the discontinuance of any rail or shipping services provided by. . . F1 the Scottish Group or any subsidiary of. . . F1 or Group, that. . . F1 Group shall from time to time publish in such manner and in such places in the United Kingdom as. . . F1 the Secretary of State may direct such information as to their plans as. . . F1 the Secretary of State may determine.
(2)The enactments referred to in Schedule 16 to this Act shall have effect subject to the provisions of that Schedule, being provisions supplementary to or consequential on provisions of this Act.
