26 Penalty for obstructing remedial operations and damaging completed works.E+W+S

(1)Any person who wilfully prevents or interferes with the carrying out of exploratory tests or remedial operations shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding [F1level 3 on the standard scale].

(2)Any person who wilfully damages or otherwise interferes with any works completed in the course of remedial operations for the purpose of ensuring the stability of a disused tip shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding [F2level 5 on the standard scale].
