53U.K.Where the Crown retains possession of any documents of title to any land any part of which is vested by virtue of section 16 of this Act in the Post Office, the Minister shall be assumed to have given to the Post Office an acknowledgment in writing of the right of the Post Office to production of those documents and to delivery of copies thereof, and, so far as relates to land in England or Wales, section 64 of the M1Law of Property Act 1925 shall have effect accordingly, and on the basis that the acknowledgment did not contain any such expression of contrary intention as is mentioned in that section and, so far as relates to land in Northern Ireland, section 9 of the M2Conveyancing Act 1881 shall have similar effect.
