103National Agricultural Advisory Service
The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food may, instead of maintaining the National Agricultural Advisory Service provided for by section 1(1) of the [1944 c. 28.] Agriculture (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1944, give effect to the purposes for which that Service was established (which relate to the provision of advice and instruction on agricultural matters) through such other organisation as he may consider appropriate; and accordingly, the said section 1(1) shall be amended by substituting, for the words " shall, as from the appointed day, establish and maintain a National Agricultural Advisory Service " , the words " shall make provision through such organisation as he considers appropriate ".
