[F111A Certain provisions not to apply where a discharge or escape is authorised under Part I of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.E+W+S
(1)The provisions of sections 2(1) and [F2 3(1)] of this Act shall not apply to any discharge which is made under, and the provisions of section 11(1) of this Act shall not apply to any escape which is authorised by, F3...[F4 a permit granted under regulations under section 2 of the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999[F5 or section 18 of the Regulatory Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 ]].
(2)This section does not extend to Northern Ireland.]
