Superannuation Act 1972

2(1)Any determination, decision, surrender, election or nomination made, certificate, direction, notice or approval given, contribution paid or other thing done under any provision of the Superannuation Acts 1965 and 1967 which is repealed by this Act shall not be affected by the repeal but shall have effect as if made, given or done under the corresponding provision of the principal civil service pension scheme within the meaning of section 2 of this Act.U.K.

(2)Section 3 of this Act shall apply in relation to payments made before the commencement of this Act in accordance with a warrant under section 18 of the M1Superannuation Act 1965 or a warrant issued by virtue of section 6 of the Ministerial Salaries Consolidation Act 1965 as it applies in relation to payments made in accordance with a scheme made under the said section 1.

(3)Section 4(1) of this Act shall apply in relation to any person to whom a payment was made under section 93 of the M2Superannuation Act 1965 as it applies in relation to any person to whom a payment is made under the said section 4(1).
