13U.K.Notwithstanding the repeal by this Act of sub-paragraphs (i), (ii) and (iii) of section 6(2)(d) of the M1Commonwealth Telegraphs Act 1949, regulations made by virtue of those sub-paragraphs shall continue to have effect in so far as immediately before the commencement of this Act they apply to any persons, other than persons employed in the civil service of the State, and may be varied or revoked as if the said sub-paragraphs had not been repealed.
