26The slum clearance revenue account

Every local authority shall for the year 1972-73 and subsequent years keep an account (to be called " the slum clearance revenue account ")—

a

of the income and expenditure of the authority in respect of houses and other property acquired by them under, or appropriated, whether before or after this Act comes into force, for the purposes of Part II or Part III of the Act of 1966 or Part I of the Act of 1969, other than a house acquired under the said Part I for the purpose of bringing it or another house up to the tolerable standard; and

b

of any expenditure of the authority referred to in section 7(2) of this Act in respect of houses and other property which is not included in paragraph (a) above together with any income related to that expenditure.

The provisions of Schedule 5 to this Act shall have effect as respects the keeping of the slum clearance revenue account.
