(1)The functions of the Totalisator Board under section 13 of the Act of 1963 (grant and revocation of certificates of approval of horse racecourses) are hereby transferred to the Levy Board; and accordingly in the said section 13 and in the definition of “approved horse racecourse” in section 55(1) of that Act for any reference to the Totalisator Board there shall be substituted a reference to the Levy Board.
(2)This section does not affect the validity of any certificate under the said section 13 which is in force at the passing of this Act, and any such certificate shall thereafter be treated for the purposes of the said section 13 as if it had been granted by the Levy Board.
