At the end of section 16(2) of the M1Sea Fisheries (Shellfish) Act 1967 (which makes certain exemptions in respect of the closed season for the sale of oysters) there shall be added the following— “ ,or(e) were Pacific or Japanese oysters(Crassostrea gigas), Portugese oysters(Crassostrea angulata) or other members of the genus Crassotrea. ”
