The occupier of a slaughterhouse or knacker's yard in respect of which a licence is in force shall display in a conspicuous position on the premises a legible notice with the words " Licensed Slaughterhouse " or " Licensed Knacker's Yard ", as the case may be.

A person who fails to comply with the provisions of this section shall be liable to a fine not exceeding £10.
