X1 11 E+W+S In section 9 of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Protection) (Scotland) Act 1951 (which provides that acts done for scientific and certain other purposes shall not constitute an offence under Part I of that Act) after the words “this Part of this Act” there shall be inserted the words “or of section 31(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974”.
