No extract conviction shall be issued during the period of [F1two weeks] after the actual day on which such conviction took place, save in so far as the same may be required as a warrant for the detention of the person convicted under any sentence which shall have been pronounced against him nor, in the event of [F1an intimation of intention to appeal (or in the case of an appeal under section 228(1)(b) of this Act a note of appeal)] being lodged under this Part of this Act, until [F1such appeal, if it is proceeded with, is determined].
