This is the original version (as it was originally enacted).
(1)In this section " the Minister " means the Minister of Overseas Development.
(2)The functions of the Secretary of State (under the enactments mentioned in Part I of Schedule 2 to this Act) which were transferred to the Minister by section 3(3) of the [1974 c. 21.] Ministers of the Crown Act 1974 shall continue to be exercisable by the Minister.
(3)The functions of the Secretary of State (under the enactments mentioned in Part II of Schedule 2 to this Act) which, by virtue of section 3(4) of the said Act of 1974, are exercisable concurrently with the Minister shall continue to be so exercisable ; and any reference to the Secretary of State in those enactments, and any such reference in any other enactment or instrument so far as it relates to those functions, shall continue to be construed as a reference to the Secretary of State or the Minister.
(4)This section is without prejudice to the power under this Act to transfer any other functions to the Minister.
