2 Guidance to the Board by the F2Treasury.

Subject to subsection (2) below, the F2Treasury may from time to time, after consultation with the Board, give guidance to the Board in writing with respect to the performance of any of their functions under this Act; and it shall be the duty of the Board to perform the functions in question in such a manner as they consider is in accordance with the guidance for the time being given to them in pursuance of this section.

No guidance shall be given to the Board in pursuance of subsection (1) above unless a draft of the document containing it has been approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
