The enactments mentioned in Schedule 1 to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in column 3 of that Schedule.

The enactments mentioned in Part I of Schedule 2 to this Act shall have effect with the amendments there specified (which are consequential on or otherwise made in connection with certain of the repeals in Part II (Alcoholism) of Schedule 1 to this Act) and the enactments mentioned in Part II of Schedule 2 to this Act shall have effect with the amendments there specified (which are consequential on other repeals made by this Act).
