74 Orders and regulations.E+W+S

(1)Any power of a Minister of the Crown to make orders or regulations under the provisions of this Act (except [F1section]50(2)(a)) shall be exercisable by statutory instrument.

(2)An order made by a Minister of the Crown under the preceding provisions of this Act (except sections . . . F250(2)(a) and 73(1)), and any regulations made under section [F356(5), (6) or] 75(5)(a), shall be subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.

(3)An order under this Act may make different provision in relation to different cases or classes of case, may exclude certain cases or classes of case, and may contain transitional provisions and savings.

(4)Any power conferred by this Act to make orders include power (exercisable in the like manner and subject to the like conditions) to vary or revoke any order so made.

(5)Any document purporting to be an order made by the Secretary of State under section . . . F450(2)(a) and to be signed by him or on his behalf shall be received in evidence, and shall, unless the contrary is proved, be deemed to be made by him.
