[F1 72A Amounts attributable to services. E+W

In order to assist authorities to give effect to the housing benefit scheme under Part VII of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 [F2 or to assist the Secretary of State in the administration of universal credit] , where a rent is registered, there shall be noted on the register the amount (if any) of the registered rent which, in the opinion of the rent officer or [F3 appropriate tribunal] , is fairly attributable to the provision of services, except any amount which is negligible in the opinion of the officer or, as the case may be, the [F4 tribunal] .]
