There may be defrayed out of money provided by Parliament any expenditure which the Secretary of State may with the consent of the Treasury incur with a view to or in connection with the acquisition for the Crown of shares in, or securities of, the National Nuclear Corporation Limited or any company which is a subsidiary of it (within the meaning of the [1948 c. 38.] Companies Act 1948).
