C1C2C4C3F1 13A C3 Co-operation in planning of services for disabled persons, the elderly and others.

The duty under section 13, in relation to persons to whom this section applies, includes—
a
joint planning of—
i
services for those persons; and
ii
the development of those services,
F2by Health Boards and such of the authorities as mentioned in that section F4(including HIS) as may be concerned
b
such consultation with voluntary organisations providing services similar to those mentioned in paragraph ( a ) as might be expected to contribute substantially to the joint planning of the services mentioned in that paragraph;
F3c
the publication, at such times and in such manner as the bodies who have made joint plans under paragraph ( a ) consider appropriate, of those joint plans.

This section applies to—
a
disabled persons within the meaning of the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986;
b
persons aged 65 or more; and
c
such other categories of persons as the Secretary of State may by order specify.
