Where an advisory committee is appointed under any statutory provision as defined by section 1 of the [1954 c. 33 (N.I.).] Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954, regard shall be had, in the appointment of persons to be members of that committee, to the desirability of the committee including one or more persons with experience of work among, and the special needs of, disabled persons and of the person or persons with that experience being or including a disabled person or persons.
