3 Short title, commencement, repeals and extent.

This Act may be cited as the Police Negotiating Board Act 1980.

This Act shall come into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it is passed.

The following enactments are repealed—
a
section 4 of the M1Police Act 1969;
b
section 22 of the M2Police Act (Northern Ireland) 1970;
c
paragraph 7 of Schedule 2 to the M3Police Pensions Act 1976.

This Act extends to Northern Ireland.
