This is the original version (as it was originally enacted).
(1)The expenses incurred by the Secretary of State in the exercise of his functions under this Act shall, in so far as they are not met under section 1(2) of the [1939 c. 20.] Reorganisation of Offices (Scotland) Act 1939, be defrayed out of money provided by Parliament.
(2)Any sum by which any grants under this Act are increased by reason of the powers and duties conferred and imposed by the provisions of section 48 of this Act on education authorities shall be defrayed out of money provided by Parliament.
