6In the Clean Air Act 1968—
(a)in section 3(5) (fittings for new furnaces) for the words “(3) to" there shall be substituted the words “ (4) and ”; and
(b)the following provisions, namely
(i)section 4(3) (exemptions);
(ii)section 6(3) (applications for approval of height of chimneys) and
(iii)section 14(3) (repeal of local Acts),
shall cease to have effect.
