10[F1(1)]If the Secretary of State certifies that possession of a house which has been vested in or acquired by an urban development corporation or local highway authority for the purposes of this part of this Act and is for the time being held by that corporation or authority for the purposes for which it was acquired, is immediately required for those purposes, nothing in [F2an enactment mentioned in sub-paragraph (2)] shall prevent that corporation or authority from obtaining possession of the house.E+W+S

(a)the Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976,
(b)the Rent Act 1977,
(c)the Housing Act 1988,
(d)the Rent (Scotland) Acts 1971 to 1975,

(f)the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988,
(g)the Private Housing (Tenancies) (Scotland) Act 2016.]
