SCHEDULE 2 U.K. Army and Air Force Pensioners and other Former Soldiers not Liable to be Recalled for Service

3 U.K. A person certified to be registered as a blind person—

(a) [F1 by a local authority, as defined for the purposes of Part III of the M1 National Assistance Act 1948, under arrangements made by the authority under section 29 of that Act;]

(b) by a Health and Social Services Board in Northern Ireland under arrangements made under Article 15(1) of the M2 Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1972.
