19U.K.[F1A person who immediately before 1st January 1967 was a man of the regular army or the regular air force may elect irrevocably in the prescribed manner that, on his becoming a member of the [F2Regular Reserve] or the Air Force Reserve, he shall be a person to whom section 38 above applies.]
