33 Registration of certain alien women entitled to registration as British subjects immediately before commencement.U.K.

[F1A woman who immediately before commencement was the wife of a British subject shall be entitled, on an application for her registration as a British subject made within five years after commencement, to be registered as a British subject if—

(a)immediately before commencement she would (if she had applied for it) have been entitled under section 1 of the M1British Nationality Act 1965 to be registered as a British subject by virtue of her marriage to the man who was then her husband; and

(b)on the date of the application under this section that man is a British subject; and

(c)she remained married to him throughout the period from commencement to that date.]
