16In the Air Travel Reserve Fund Act 1975—

(a)in subsections (6)(b), (9) and (10) of section 2 and in subsection (1) of section 4, for the words “section 26 of the Civil Aviation Act 1971” there shall be substituted the words “section 71 of the Civil Aviation Act 1982” ;

(b)in subsections (2), (3) and (4) for the words “section 26” there shall be substituted the words “section 71”

(c)at the end of the said subsection (3) of section 4 there shall be inserted the words “; and a statutory instrument of which a draft has been approved in accordance with this subsection by a resolution of each House of Parliament shall not be subject to annulment in accordance with section 102(4) of the said Act of 1982.” ;

(d)in section 6 after the word “order” there shall be inserted the words “made by statutory instrument” and at the end there shall be inserted the words “An order under this section shall be subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament, and paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part III of Schedule 13 to the Civil Aviation Act 1982 (which confer supplemental powers) shall apply to the power to make an order under this section.” ;

(e)in subsection (1) of section 7 for the words “the Civil Aviation Act 1971” there shall be substituted the words “the Civil Aviation Act 1982” ; and

(f)for subsections (2) and (3) of section 7 there shall be substituted the following subsections—

(2)Sections 4 and 11 of the said Act of 1982 (which provide for the general objectives of the Authority in respect of the performance of its functions and for charges by the Authority in respect of the performance of its functions) do not apply in relation to the functions conferred on the Authority by this Act.

(3)Subsection (1) of section 108 of the said Act of 1982 (which provides for the extension of that Act to certain overseas territories) shall apply to the provisions mentioned in that subsection.
