29 Control of road traffic F9 at relevant aerodromes.

So long as any aerodrome is F7a relevant aerodrome, the functions of a chief officer of police under any provisions applying in relation to the aerodrome under F1section 65 of the Airports Act 1986(application to certain aerodromes of provisions relating to road traffic) shall, notwithstanding any order under F1that section, be exercisable by that officer to the exclusion of the chief officer of any aerodrome constabulary; and for the purposes of any functions of a chief officer of police under those provisions any part of the aerodrome which is not within the relevant police area shall be treated as if it were.

F10In the application of this Part to Scotland and Northern Ireland, so long as any aerodrome is F8a relevant aerodrome

traffic wardens appointed by F11the police authority for the relevant police area F2 . . . may exercise their functions on the aerodrome and shall be entitled, as against the manager of the aerodrome, to enter the aerodrome accordingly;
