Schedule 2 to this Act (which contains consequential amendments and savings) shall have effect; and the provisions of that Schedule are without prejudice to sections 16 and 17 of the M1 Interpretation Act 1978 (which relate to repeals).

Subject to the provisions of Schedule 2 to this Act, the enactments specified in Schedule 3 to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of Schedule 3.
