The Countryside (Scotland) Act 1967 (c. 86)

For subsection (2) of section 52 (exercise of powers under M1Local Government (Development and Finance) (Scotland) Act 1964) there shall be substituted the following subsections—

2A

For the purposes of section 2(1)(a) and (c) and (2) of the said Act of 1964, general and district planning authorities may acquire land compulsorily.

2B

For the purposes of section 2(1)(b) of the said Act of 1964, planning authorities may acquire land compulsorily.
