3SIn this Schedule—
[F1“appropriate relevant authority”, in relation to the area of a local authority, means the authority discharging in that area the functions of a relevant authority as defined in section 6 of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 (asp 5);]
[F2“authorised civilian employee” means a person—
employed by a police authority under section 9(1)(a) of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967 (c.77), and
authorised by the chief constable for the purposes of paragraph 20 of this Schedule;]
“chief constable”, in relation to the area of a [F3local authority], means the chief constable for the area which includes the area of the council;

“relevant objection or representation” means—
(a)in paragraphs 1 to 8, an objection or representation which, under paragraph 8 below, the [F3local authority] are obliged to or intend to entertain; and
(b)in the other paragraphs, an objection or representation which, under the said paragraph 8, they were obliged to or intended to entertain.
