26In the M1Children and Young Persons Act 1969—
[F1(a)in section 1(3) for the words “Part V of the Mental Health Act 1959” there shall be substituted the words “Part III of the Mental Health Act 1983”;
(b)in section 1(5) for the words “section 60 of the said Act of 1959” there shall be substituted the words “section 37 of the said Act of 1983”;
(c)in section 2(10) for the words “section 31 of the Mental Health (Amendment) Act 1982” and “the said section 31” there shall be substituted respectively the words “section 38 of the Mental Health Act 1983” and “the said section 38”.]
(d)in section 12(4) for the words “section 28 of the Mental Health Act 1959”, “Part V” and “the said Act of 1959” there shall be substituted respectively the words “section 12 of the Mental Health Act 1983”, “Part III” and “the said Act of 1983”;
(e)in paragraph 7(7) of Schedule 4 for the words from the beginning to “1959” there shall be substituted the words “A restriction direction which was given under section 49 of the Mental Health Act 1983”.
