In section 2(5) of the 1979 Act (conditions attached to scheduled monument consent) for “the Secretary of State or a person authorised by the Secretary of State" there shall be substituted—
a
a person authorised by the Commission (in a case where the monument in question is situated in England), or
b
the Secretary of State or a person authorised by the Secretary of State (in any other case)

This paragraph does not apply to a consent granted before the appointed day.
