References to a F1traffic authority in any of the provisions of this Act specified in subsection (2) below shall be construed as including references to any person who, not being a F1traffic authority , is responsible for the maintenance of a road.

The provisions of this Act referred to in subsection (1) above are section 65 and sections 68 to 73.
