47SIn section 9(4) of the Land Powers (Defence) Act 1958 (supplementary provisions with respect to stopping up and diversion of highways), for the words from the beginning to “right of way”, where it first occurs, there shall be substituted the words—

(4)In section 8 of this Act and this section, in their application to Scotland, “highway” means a road within the meaning of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984:.
