The Pet Animals Act 1951 shall be amended in accordance with this paragraph.

In section 2 (pets not to be sold in streets or public places), for the word “street” there shall be substituted the word “road”.

In section 7(3) (interpretation), after the definition of “pedigree animal” there shall be inserted the following definition—
“road” has the same meaning as in the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984;
