) The Civil Aviation Act 1982 shall be amended in accordance with this paragraph.

In section 105 (general interpretation), after subsection (5) there shall be inserted the following subsection—
5A
In the application of this Act to Scotland references to a highway shall have effect as references to a road within the meaning of section 151(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984.

In paragraph 4 of Schedule 2 (application to Civil Aviation Authority of enactments relating to statutory undertakings)—
a
the words “section 40 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1970” shall cease to have effect; and
b
at the end there shall be added the words “; section 140 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984.”.
