25U.K.Any functions which by virtue of paragraph 1 of Schedule 8 to the Courts Act 1971 are exercisable by, or by the clerk to, a metropolitan county council shall be exercisable respectively by the council, or the proper officer of the council, of each metropolitan district comprised in the county.
